Well it's the first
day back after the Christmas break and a few days to go before New Year. We
really thought we'd have a lot of emergencies today, but it's been a relaxed
day.
Dr Teresa introduced a patient
to the delights of a no drilling filling. we have 2 ways to do fillings without
drilling:-

- Air abrasion, which is a stream of aluminium oxide particle in compressed air; this removes the decay without the need for any injections and is totally painfree. George was very impressed.
- We have another way to do it if the cavity is between the teeth, and again it's totally pain free.
Dr Teresa also took a
tooth out for a patient in pain, and he was so pleased we didn't hurt him that
he said he's coming back.
