It is true that smoking and consumption of other tobacco products causes oral health problems like tooth loss and gum disease. My father is a chain smoker and he lost most of his teeth at the age of 65. He consulted with a dentist in New Jersey to get rid of missing teeth problem. While he was discussing with the dentist about his problem he came to know that smoking was one of the causes of his missing teeth problem. The dentist told him that smoking leads to gum disease which is the most common cause of tooth loss.
